The Director Assistant (Operations) performs a wide range of administrative and support services to director level management. This person will be responsible to ease the administrative workload on a director, leaving the director to focus on decision making and business development.

 

Essential Duties:

Customer Service

  • Handle telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently and effectively
  • Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance
  • Effectively research and resolve complaints and conflicts

Administrative & Support Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and/or manage project-based work
  • Conduct research, assemble, and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
  • Manage and maintain director schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Arrange, coordinate and/or facilitate meetings and events
  • Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications
  • Receive and interact with customers, employees, and visitors
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary

  • Develop new and existing skills through educational programs including, seminars, product knowledge training and clinics
  • Willing to become a member of a committee/team for current or new programs to ensure their success
  • Attendance at Company/store meetings is mandatory

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Education/Experience: College degree preferred but not required.  3-5 years of office/business management experience.  Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Language Ability: Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with individuals inside and outside of the company
  • Math Ability: Advanced math skills
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Computer Skills: Proficient keyboard and computer skills including Microsoft office and other Company and discipline specific software applications
  • Certificates and License: None are required
