Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Serve as the lead technical advisor for assigned OEM and Tier-1customers
Drive design-in and design-win activities for Automotive Ethernet PHYs, switches, and associated products
Provide system-level guidance on in-vehicle networking architectures(zonal, domain, backbone)
Support customer bring-up, debugging, and optimization in hardware and software domains
Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions
Assist customers in schematic design reviews, layout recommendations, and signal integrity considerations
Support compliance with automotive standards (OPEN Alliance, IEEE 802.3,100/1000BASE-T1, 10BASE-T1S, MultiGig, Asymmetrical MultiGig Ethernet,etc.)
Troubleshoot complex integration issues across hardware, firmware, and network layers
Develop and deliver application notes, design guides, and reference implementations
Act as the voice of the customer within the company to influence product roadmap and features
Collaborate closely with R&D, product marketing, and quality teams
Provide detailed feedback on silicon performance, specifications, and customer requirements
Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations
Contribute to revenue growth through successful design wins and customer retention
Support account teams in pre-sales technical strategy and positioning
Identify new opportunities in emerging automotive architectures (ADAS, autonomous, SDV)
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Strong understanding of:
Ethernet PHYs and switches
Network protocols: TCP/IP, AVB/TSN, SOME/IP, DoIP
Signal integrity and high-speed design principles
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, protocol analyzers)
Experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
Excellent communication and presentation skills
