About the Role:
Join EMPIRE RANCH RESIDENTIAL as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) RBT and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This rewarding position offers you the opportunity to provide essential support and guidance in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Monitor and document progress on behavioral goals and objectives.
- Assist in promoting social skills and community integration.
- Engage clients in recreational and educational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistent care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred (RBT, CPR First Aid, CPI, DSP1 & DSP2).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including evenings and weekends.
