Must be able to attend mandatory week-long New Employee Orientation training from Monday to Friday between 9AM-4PM

Pay Scale: $18.50 starting rate, $19.25 with CT Medical Certification.

If you’re looking for something small, consistent, and meaningful that fits into your life, this could be a good opportunity.

We’re currently hiring in the Waterbury area for two very part-time positions and one PRN (as-needed) role. Each option is a little different, so we’ve outlined them below to help you find what aligns best with your availability. Reliable transportation is important due to the location.

As a DSP, you’ll support individuals with daily routines, spend meaningful time together, and help promote independence and community involvement. It’s steady, relationship-focused work that makes a real difference in day-to-day life.

Who This Might Work Well For

This tends to be a good fit for someone who wants a small, reliable schedule and already knows these hours would fit into their weekly routine. It can also work well for someone balancing school, caregiving, or another job.

We do want to be upfront: if you’re looking for something flexible or full-time, this likely isn’t the right fit, but if these hours work for you, we’d love to connect!

Option 1 – Part-Time (Set Schedule)
Every Friday and Saturday
2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Option 2 – Part-Time (Set Schedule)
Every Saturday
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Option 3 – PRN (As-Needed)
No set weekly commitment

**PRN schedules are typically available about a month in advance, with additional opportunities to pick up shifts through our scheduling app as needs arise.  This option works well for someone who likes some structure ahead of time but also wants the ability to pick up extra hours when it fits their schedule.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
  • MINIMUM of 2 years licensed driving experience required
