Job Description: Vision Life is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in an on-call capacity. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes and community settings
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Support clients in achieving personal goals and maintaining independence
Follow individualized care plans (IPP/ISP)
Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Requirements:
Must be available on short notice, including weekdays and weekends
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
Previous experience in caregiving or DSP role is a plus, but not required
Work Locations Include: Los Angeles, Arcadia, Duarte, San Gabriel, Glendale, Montrose, Monrovia, and Pasadena
