Join our dynamic team at Seven Hills Community Services as a Direct Support Professional II, where your work directly contributes to creating safe, supportive environments that foster independence and personal growth.
Your Role
As a Direct Support Professional II, you'll play an integral part in assisting individuals with daily living, promoting community connections, and supporting them in achieving their personal goals. In this role, you'll also take on leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising other direct support staff, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
Direct Support Professionals are provided a paid 5-day New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP). They also receive program-specific training at the work site.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
Experience: 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
Certifications: CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (training provided if needed).
Skills:
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Compassionate and patient approach to care.
Commitment to fostering inclusion and independence.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance), and remain alert during shifts.
