The Opportunity
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will do work that matters every single day. You will mentor, teach, guide, and advocate for adults with I/DD, helping them build confidence, access their community, and achieve personal goals.

What You'll Do
- Provide respectful, hands-on support to individuals with I/DD in their daily living, personal care, and community activities.
- Serve as a mentor and advocate, helping each person work toward personal goals such as communication, independence, and social connections.
- Accompany and support clients at community outings, recreational activities, and medical appointments, ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement.
- Encourage and model positive peer interactions, helping clients build and maintain healthy relationships.
- Follow individual support plans, communicate observations to the team, and collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
What Success Looks Like
- Within the first few months, you build trusting, respectful relationships with the individuals you support and learn their routines, preferences, and goals.
- Individuals you work with are more engaged in community and recreational activities and demonstrate progress in independence or social skills.
- Documentation, communication with the team, and follow-through on support plans are accurate, timely, and consistent.
- You are a reliable, positive presence on the team, demonstrating good judgment in day-to-day decisions and responding calmly and effectively to challenges.

- At least 21 years of age, with reliable transportation, a valid CA Driver’s License, and the ability to pass a background check; prior human services experience and/or American Sign Language skills are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Benefits for full-time positions, including health insurance, flexible schedules, and opportunities for training and development
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Day shifts with rotating weekends; in-person role with 4-hour and 8-hour shifts available
