Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to enhance clients' independence.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress towards goals.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Hands- on CPR and First Aid certification
- Background check clearance required for employment.
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and enhancing their quality of life.
