Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Clearances: Ability to pass PA State Police Criminal Check, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprinting.
Health: Valid physical exam and negative TB test result (completed within the last year).
Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Preferred Requirements
License: Valid PA Driver’s License with a clean driving record (highly preferred for community transport).
Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications (training can be provided to the right candidate).
Physical: Ability to safely lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.
Daily Living: Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
Community Goals: Accompany individuals to local community activities, volunteer sites, and medical appointments.
Skill Building: Implement individualized support plans to encourage life skills and independence.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, daily electronic logs of progress, behaviors, and health milestones.
