Description

OCCK, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, conscientious, self-motivated individual to work with adults who have disabilities. Direct Support Professionals are needed in Independent Living working one on one with customers and in Residential working with more than one resident. Services are provided in home environments and the community to establish positive routines, develop functional skills and for the enhancement of daily living skills. This educator/instructor will provide support and guidance in a mentor-style relationship for the achievement of individualized service plan goals.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have a proven work history.
• Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
• Must be available to work various shifts.
• Must meet the eligibility requirements of the auto insurance company providing coverage for OCCK vehicles.
• One year working in the field of human services preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
