The Arc Has a Unique Direct Support Professional (DSP) Position Available!

Work 7 AM - 9 PM as a Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) just 3 days per week - or choose these same shifts part-time (1-2 days/week).

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Full-Time Pay: $18/hour + Shift Differentials + $1,200 Sign-on Bonus

Part-Time Pay: $17/hour + Shift Differentials + $600 Sign-on Bonus

Location: State College, PA

Scheduling: 14-hour shifts available 7a-9p on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. Full-time employees will have overtime opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required (ability to transport individuals)
• Ability to obtain required TB test and physical (per ODP regulations)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, overnights, holidays)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with physical supports (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred (not required):

• Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare

The Arc of Centre County is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities.

No experience required – paid training provided.
