Direct service professional (DSP)

Franko Trading Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)/Home Health Aides (HHAs). In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities, and the elderly. Ensuring their safety, well-being, and enhanced quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs
• Take individuals on community outings, appointments, and running errands (grocery stores, shopping, etc.)
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members, families, and supervisors
• Support individuals in achieving independence and personal goals
• Follow care plans and comply with all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in direct care, patient care, or senior care preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others
• Must meet all state and agency training and background check requirements

This position follows a set schedule, and staff are expected to adhere to it consistently. A valid driver’s license with state-minimum liability insurance is required, and the insurance must be in the applicant’s name
