Location: Greensboro, NC
- Electro-Mechanical technician position requires a hands-on team player who will provide their technical expertise for troubleshooting, repair, modification, and new installations of equipment
- In this position, you would troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install production and building equipment
- Work closely with other team members to efficiently solve problems and reduce downtime
- Improve processes and reduce downtime to increase our overall production output
- Diagnose, plan, and perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild and dismantle various types of complex manufacturing and support equipment
- Special focus on troubleshooting on controls systems, servo drives, motors, HMI’s and PLC’s on complex equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and other proactive activities to monitor and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair of Pneumatic Allen Bradley PLC systems, Process controls, and motors and controls
- Coordinate with other technicians, production supervisors, engineers, and other members of the company to communicate maintenance activities
- Coordinate with outside contractors, and service vendors for technical assistance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, and drive recommendations to implementation
- Complete or assist other technicians or support other special projects
