Direct Hire | Director of Rehabilitation (PT / OT / ST / PTA / COTA)

Location: Belle Fourche, SD
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Rehabilitation to lead a dedicated therapy team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed therapist who is ready to oversee rehabilitation services, mentor clinical staff, and drive positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily rehabilitation department operations
• Manage and support Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, PTAs, and COTAs
• Ensure delivery of high-quality therapy services and patient-centered care
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor department productivity, compliance, and quality metrics
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities
• Promote clinical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Licensed Therapist (PT, OT, ST, PTA, or COTA) in South Dakota or eligible for South Dakota licensure
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Commitment to exceptional patient care

Preferred:

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• Previous rehabilitation leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience managing multidisciplinary therapy teams
