NRVCS is searching for our next Direct Care/Service Professional to help us serve our community! The Direct Care/ Service Professional, provides direct services designed to promote independence for individuals residing in Fairview Home Assisted Living Facility. Works to ensure residents health and safety needs are addressed as indicated in the Individual Service Plans (ISPs). Starting Hourly Rate: $17.82-Depending on Experience

A $3.00 Shift Differential offered for Overnight/Weekend Hours.

Education/Experience Required:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Shall meet the qualifications of Direct Care as required by Virginia Department of Social Services Standards for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities:
  • a. certification as a nurse aide issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing or
  • b. successful completion of a Virginia BON approved nurse aide education program or
  • c. successful completion of a nursing education program preparing for registered nurse licensure or practical nurse licensure or
  • d. current enrollment in a nursing education program preparing for registered nurse or practical nurse licensure and completion of at least one clinical course in the nursing program that includes at least 40 hours of direct care clinical experience or
  • e. successful completion of a personal care aide training program approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services or
  • f. successful completion of an education program for geriatric assistant or home health aide or g. successful completion of the department-approved 40-hour direct care staff training program
