Job DescriptionHealthcare Analytics Solutions (HAS) is an innovative team within Quest Diagnostics that leverages Quest data to develop products and services to improve outcomes in healthcare across many different markets (Pharma, Clinical Trials, Health Plans/Payors, Hospitals/Health Systems, and Public Health agencies).This role will focus on leading product development portfolio strategies and activities within the Healthcare Analytics Solutions (HAS leader insert business name) portfolio. Cross-functional business influence, prioritization negotiations and alignment, communication and transformational leadership are vital to success in this role. The Portfolio Product Manager is responsible for collecting, analyzing and acting on market intelligence gleaned from a strong network of internal and external partners, identifying opportunities to expand their portfolio to better serve and grow the HAS market share of their assigned business vertical. Portfolio Product Manager will work on building strategic partnership with external parties as per HAS vision and needs. The Portfolio Product Manager will translate defined and undefined needs into strategies, bringing differentiated products to market that add value to the healthcare experience in their assigned vertical and contribute to HAS/Quest's overall growth strategies. Enter information here on what domain experience you are looking for.Portfolio Product Managers must also have experience with end-to-end product design activities, ranging from leading initial brainstorming of new product features based on detailed market analysis to implementation and introduction of those products into the marketplace.The Portfolio Product Manager will be responsible for developing a 2-3 year strategic view of market growth, trends, and product development needs.Responsibilities: Develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to forecast market trends, identifying and executing market capture and investment opportunitiesLeverages competitive insights, Voice of Customer and domain expertise to form multi-year growth strategies to deliver accelerated customer value and outcomesAssesses market conditions and customer profile definitions, translating intelligence to market modeling and product strategyPartners with Marketing to develop high level product differentiation alignment and communication for the portfolio of business in their assigned verticalPartners with Sales and HAS leadership to translate market intelligence and customer feedback into product portfolio strategy, anticipating customer needs, delivering proactively on a need before or as it is identifiedWork with HAS Partner Development to develop technology/services acquisition & partnership strategy for their assigned portfolio of productionPartners with HAS and Technology leaders to identify, align on prioritization of enablers on enterprise architectural runway to enable HAS capabilities to deliver customer outcomesCreate and maintain a visual depiction of the product portfolio and where each product is currently within the Product Lifecycle, so that the Product Manager can determine the appropriate plans to continue growing and supporting products over time.Maintains overall roadmap progress and financial for all products related to the portfolioResponsible for developing, identifying and maintaining a clear definition and understanding of "the customer," to ensure that products remain customer centric and meet customer needs.Keeps awareness of market factors including competitor products, consumer demand, and new trends, and shares this information regularly with the team and our stakeholders.Develop each product's vision and roadmap with key stakeholders and customers, by owning the creation of portfolio vision, and definition of the Product ART Epics Backlog (aka lean business case). Product Managers will also ensure alignment of the roadmap with broader HAS and Quest strategic themes.Prioritize and collaborate with coaches on resource product development strategies to execute on the product roadmap for their assigned verticalCollaborate with Technology and Architecture to understand and sequence Technology Enablers for Product functionality and build this into the Product's Architectural RunwayUpdate management regarding overall Portfolio and related product statuses, risks and resolution options in conjunction with the Release Train Engineers and Coaches.Oversee all product management activities across a portfolio such as collaboration with external parties (Distribution Channel Partners, Service Partners) and internal handoffs to Current Product team.Drive the creation of executive-level presentations related to the portfolio (e.g., data analysis, graph generation etc.);Collaborates with the Agile coaches to establish Lean portfolio management practices to drive transparency and predictabilityRegularly review and communicate to IT, Medical, Legal, Compliance and Regulatory teams any adjustments to requirements, specifications, business processes and prioritization to support complianceInfluence and lead the vision for product teamsParticipate in and grow Product Management Community of PracticeQualifications: "Required Work Experience:Demonstrated experience of healthcare content or related technical, data analytics, informatics, software and/or IT productsMinimum of 8-12 years of Product Management experience to support software developmentExperience reading market intelligence reports and synthesizing content to develop a portfolio roadmap with focus on prioritized product sExperience differentiating and defining a customer vs a market issue and developing effective solutions to addressDemonstrated ability to draw relationship between products, strategize and build a value-based roadmap for that portfolioWork closely with business leaders to align on business expectations, value creation and related activitiesExperience managing portfolios of multiple health care products through full life cycle.Demonstrated experience in vendor selection & relationship management in the healthcare and/or data analytics spaceDemonstrated success in managing big portfolios with multiple products and related life cycle of a products Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure), databases, data structure, and data analytics toolsExperience presenting complex products to multiple stakeholdersExperience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesPreferred Work Experience:SAFe AgileDirect or indirect team leadershipNegotiation frameworksPrioritization frameworksKnowledge of VOC techniques and translating VOC(s) as part of portfolio roadmapsPhysical and Mental Requirements:N/AKnowledge:Data analyticsPortfolio managementBudgetingValue stream mappingDriving alignment using dataAdd functional specifics hereSkills:Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; comfortable interacting and presenting with senior executives.Strong prioritization skills, managing complex products and projects through completionAlignment skills to bring critical stakeholders together with a common understanding of strategy, execution plan, and prioritySuperb relationship building capabilitiesAbility to design an ideal or optimized customer experience, synthesizing market intelligence and voice of customerDemonstrated ability to utilize and leverage basic business tools such as Rally, Jira, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SalesForce.com and the likeCustomer focus InfluenceStrategic agility Macro growth plannerNegotiationBusiness acumen PrioritizationFinancial acumen Communication across organizationsDrive for results Relationship builderWorks well in ambiguityEducationBachelor's Degree Bachelor''s degree from accredited college or university in related area of Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or Information Technology (Required)Work RequirementsTravel Required63926Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
