Position Summary
The Director of Physician Practice Operations is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives that support efficient, compliant, and high-performing physician practice operations. This role ensures alignment with the organizations clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards while driving operational excellence and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develops and executes goals, operational plans, and performance standards consistent with organizational clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements. • Provides leadership and oversight for all staffing functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions, and professional development initiatives. • Prepares and manages operational and departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with approved funding. • Coordinates and oversees internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity. • Directs, monitors, and evaluates practice operations to achieve performance targets, enhance quality control measures, and improve patient and provider satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five years of cumulative job-specific experience required, including at least two years in a leadership or management role.
OR
Associates or Bachelors degree with a minimum of three years of cumulative job-specific experience required, including at least two years in a leadership or management role.
