Dining Assistant
Schedule: Part-Time (24 hours a week)
Shift: 11:15 AM - 7:15 PM

This role provides hands-on support during mealtimes while assisting with dining room setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. What You'll Do
- Assist residents during meals, providing support with dining as needed
- Serve beverages, food items, and condiments courteously and promptly
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including tables, linens, silverware, dishes, and supplies
- Clean and sanitize dining spaces, tables, chairs, equipment, and service areas
- Scrape, load, and wash dishes as needed; remove and dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Follow all dietary, food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines
- Support special events, celebrations, and holiday meals
- Observe residents and report any concerns or changes to the culinary or care team
- Uphold all facility policies, infection control procedures, and resident rights
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a courteous, respectful, and helpful demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with older adults
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies
- Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday
