Departmental Summary

We are looking for a product owner to join our Digital Experience team, supporting the retail website and pre-authenticated member journey. In this role, you will own and prioritize a defined product roadmap, partnering closely with engineering, design and business stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences for prospective members - from plan discovery and comparison through enrollment.

The DX Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering digital healthcare products that improve customer experience, clinical workflows, and business outcomes. This role owns the product roadmap and backlog, serves as the primary bridge between business, clinical, and technology stakeholders, and ensures product solutions deliver measurable value while aligning with organizational strategy and healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Define/maintain product roadmap aligned to strategy and customer needs; translates priorities into product initiatives and delivery plans.
  • Own/prioritize backlog to maximize value; writes requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering/delivery teams through agile ceremonies to guide development and support successful releases; ensures quality/usability (and current compliance expectations).
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and dependency management; supports change adoption.
  • Use data/analytics/metrics to evaluate success, inform prioritization, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with privacy, security, compliance, and accessibility partners to ensure requirements are incorporated into delivery and release documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or related role required.
  • Experience working with agile product development teams required. Experience in healthcare, including payers, healthcare IT, or insurance, preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate business and clinical needs into product requirements, manage competing priorities, and make data driven decisions.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple products &/or scrum teams.
  • Experience with SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile development methodologies.
  • Expertise in defining and prioritizing business requirements and validating product capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage an organization of multiple specialties.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and understand the downstream implications of shifting priorities.
  • Ability to facilitate the completion of work in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
  • Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
