Phillips Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented individual for an Entry-Level Digital Press Operator position with a manufacturing company located in Anderson, SC. Responsibilities:- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with press machinery to provide continuous productivity
- Prepare, align and configure machinery, ink, rollers and paper for exemplary finished product
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of the print sheets
- Cleans plates, cylinders, ink pans and lubricates press as needed
- Operates press to produce finished product in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste and press efficiency
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to operate printing presses
- Liaising with previous and next lines of production for continuous work flow
- Ensure all machine equipment are calibrated on schedule
Other Duties:- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Follow all dress code policies including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and the success of the company
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00
