Position Overview:
  • The US Content Production Manager serves as a pivotal strategic and operational partner within a highly matrixed organizational framework, working in close alignment with Brand and Omnichannel Strategy teams.
  • This role functions as both a steward of executional excellence and a cross-functional integrator, ensuring the seamless development, production, and deployment of marketing assets across digital and print channels.
  • Acting as a central orchestrator of campaign implementation, the incumbent oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing materials across a defined portfolio of brands, therapeutic areas, or franchises.
  • The role is deeply embedded within the organization's commercial and operational infrastructure, ensuring that content is delivered with precision, regulatory compliance, and alignment to overarching strategic objectives.
  • This position requires continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agency partners including creative, production, and digital execution vendors to enable efficient workflows, timely asset delivery, and consistent brand fidelity.
  • In parallel, the role assumes ownership of content governance processes, particularly within Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review environments, ensuring that all materials meet rigorous compliance standards.
  • Additionally, the role contributes to the evolution of operational capabilities through the integration of advanced tools and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled platforms, to enhance personalization, scalability, and speed-to-market for marketing initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Management:
    • Direct and manage production budgets across a portfolio of brands or therapeutic areas, ensuring prudent allocation of resources aligned with strategic priorities.
    • Lead comprehensive financial forecasting processes, including the development of accurate year-end projections to support annual brand planning cycles.
    • Monitor budget utilization in real time, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Planning:
    • Partner with Capability Leads, Brand Teams, and Omnichannel Strategists to design and execute integrated campaign plans.
    • Coordinate resource planning and scheduling to ensure alignment between strategic intent and executional capacity.
    • Serve as a key liaison across matrix teams, fostering alignment, transparency, and shared accountability.
  • Content Governance & Regulatory Oversight:
    • Act as the primary project owner and advocate during MLR review meetings, facilitating real-time resolution of medical, legal, and regulatory considerations.
    • Ensure that all marketing assets adhere to compliance standards, corporate policies, and industry regulations.
    • Champion the integrity and traceability of derivative content throughout its lifecycle, from creation to final deployment.
  • Operational Execution & Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee end-to-end project workflows, including timelines, deliverables, and production milestones.
    • Conduct rigorous quality assurance (QA) reviews and spot checks across digital and print materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
    • Ensure the timely deployment of tactical marketing initiatives, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
  • Vendor & Agency Management:
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with external agencies and production partners, ensuring high performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines.
    • Oversee vendor onboarding, performance evaluation, contract adherence, and invoicing processes.
    • Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize output quality and efficiency.
  • Asset & Platform Management:
    • Maintain oversight of asset management systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and effective tracking of content lifecycle activities.
    • Leverage and optimize enterprise platforms such as Workfront, Veeva Vault, Veeva PromoMats, Salesforce, Jira, and related tools to enhance workflow visibility and efficiency.
    • Ensure proper documentation, version control, and accessibility of all marketing assets.
  • Process Optimization & Innovation:
    • Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance scalability.
    • Support the adoption and enablement of AI-driven tools and automation technologies to improve content personalization and delivery speed.
    • Contribute to the continuous evolution of operating models and best practices within the organization.
  • Logistics & Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels and distribution logistics for printed materials, ensuring readiness for product launches and campaign activations.
    • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track inventory usage, supply levels, and fulfillment needs.
  • Team Structure & Positioning:
    • This role operates within a matrixed team environment and is specifically aligned to support oncology growth brands. It functions as a central executional hub, bridging strategy, operations, compliance, and external partnerships.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in campaign-based marketing within regulated or complex environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in omnichannel marketing project management, including integrated campaign execution and budget oversight.
  • Proven experience managing marketing asset development, including familiarity with specifications, templates, workflows, and content management systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with enterprise marketing and project management platforms, including but not limited to: Adobe Workfront, Veeva PromoMats and Veeva Vault, Salesforce, Jira
  • Strong experience in financial management, including budget allocation, forecasting, and vendor cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence external vendor relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
 
Pay Rate: $69.48-$73.69/Hour
