Role Overview
The US Content Production Manager serves as a pivotal strategic and operational partner within a highly matrixed organizational framework, working in close alignment with Brand and Omnichannel Strategy teams. This role functions as both a steward of executional excellence and a cross-functional integrator, ensuring the seamless development, production, and deployment of marketing assets across digital and print channels.
Acting as a central orchestrator of campaign implementation, the incumbent oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing materials across a defined portfolio of brands, therapeutic areas, or franchises. The role is deeply embedded within the organization’s commercial and operational infrastructure, ensuring that content is delivered with precision, regulatory compliance, and alignment to overarching strategic objectives.
This position requires continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agency partners—including creative, production, and digital execution vendors—to enable efficient workflows, timely asset delivery, and consistent brand fidelity. In parallel, the role assumes ownership of content governance processes, particularly within Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review environments, ensuring that all materials meet rigorous compliance standards.
Additionally, the role contributes to the evolution of operational capabilities through the integration of advanced tools and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled platforms, to enhance personalization, scalability, and speed-to-market for marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Management
Direct and manage production budgets across a portfolio of brands or therapeutic areas, ensuring prudent allocation of resources aligned with strategic priorities.
Lead comprehensive financial forecasting processes, including the development of accurate year-end projections to support annual brand planning cycles.
Monitor budget utilization in real time, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Planning
Partner with Capability Leads, Brand Teams, and Omnichannel Strategists to design and execute integrated campaign plans.
Coordinate resource planning and scheduling to ensure alignment between strategic intent and executional capacity.
Serve as a key liaison across matrix teams, fostering alignment, transparency, and shared accountability.

Content Governance & Regulatory Oversight
Act as the primary project owner and advocate during MLR review meetings, facilitating real-time resolution of medical, legal, and regulatory considerations.
Ensure that all marketing assets adhere to compliance standards, corporate policies, and industry regulations.
Champion the integrity and traceability of derivative content throughout its lifecycle, from creation to final deployment.

Operational Execution & Quality Assurance
Oversee end-to-end project workflows, including timelines, deliverables, and production milestones.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance (QA) reviews and spot checks across digital and print materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Ensure the timely deployment of tactical marketing initiatives, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Vendor & Agency Management
Cultivate and manage relationships with external agencies and production partners, ensuring high performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines.
Oversee vendor onboarding, performance evaluation, contract adherence, and invoicing processes.
Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize output quality and efficiency.

Asset & Platform Management
Maintain oversight of asset management systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and effective tracking of content lifecycle activities.
Leverage and optimize enterprise platforms such as Workfront, Veeva Vault, Veeva Promomats, Salesforce, Jira, and related tools to enhance workflow visibility and efficiency.
Ensure proper documentation, version control, and accessibility of all marketing assets.

Process Optimization & Innovation
Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance scalability.
Support the adoption and enablement of AI-driven tools and automation technologies to improve content personalization and delivery speed.
Contribute to the continuous evolution of operating models and best practices within the organization.

Logistics & Inventory Management
Oversee inventory levels and distribution logistics for printed materials, ensuring readiness for product launches and campaign activations.
Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track inventory usage, supply levels, and fulfillment needs.

Team Structure & Positioning
This role operates within a matrixed team environment and is specifically aligned to support oncology growth brands. It functions as a central executional hub, bridging strategy, operations, compliance, and external partnerships.
