TCI has an immediate need for a Digital Marketing assistant in Louisville, KY.
This is a hybrid work opportunity - 2 days on-site and 3 days local remote. Core hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST.
SUMMARY
As a Digital Marketing Assistant you will be part of a digital team that is performing a major overhaul of their global website.
The successful candidate will work within the global communications team, playing a key role in the success of this project by managing a range of digital marketing, testing, and administrative responsibilities. This individual will be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The role will also work closely with members of the Digital Marketing and Content teams worldwide, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Operations Manager to support key workstreams involved in the website hosting migration from Rackspace to Sitecore Managed Cloud.
- Conduct thorough user acceptance testing on the site and its internal applications as a part of the hosting migration. This includes:
- Conducting frontend functionality testing across the website to ensure seamless performance and excellent user experience.
- Testing and validating the implementation and integration of CMS features, plugins, and their functionality.
- Attend project calls with external vendors to capture requirements and scope, and supporting the translation of agreed actions into clear, well-defined user stories in Jira.
- Handle content checks and updates in Sitecore during the upgrade, including page edits and basic content amendments across languages.
- Support content validation post-deployment to ensure pages render correctly and content has not been impacted by the upgrade.
- Raise and track website issues via the ticketing system, escalating where necessary.
- Monitor the site after releases and flagging any visible issues to the wider team.
- Help to manage website-related queries via the shared inbox, ensuring requests are logged and directed appropriately.
- Support the upkeep of basic documentation or checklists as required.
REQUIREMENTS- 1+ years of experience in a marketing role
- Proven experience with content management systems and/ an understanding of website functionality
