Compensation: $105,000 – $120,000 base + bonus + full benefits
Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading advanced manufacturing organization undergoing a major digital transformation. We are seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to help modernize plant operations through Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), automation integration, and data analytics.
This is a hands-on role working directly with production teams to design, deploy, and support shop-floor applications that improve throughput, quality, and operational visibility.
Build and deploy shop-floor applications using Tulip and MES platforms
Integrate MES with enterprise systems (ERP/SAP, CMMS, and related tools)
Develop dashboards and analytics using Power BI and Tulip Analytics
Support end-of-line test cell and manufacturing workflow improvements
Troubleshoot production-impacting system issues
Manage assigned technical projects, timelines, and change requests
Ensure manufacturing data accuracy and system reliability
Conduct operator training and knowledge-transfer sessions
Support lab testing and proof-of-concept evaluations for new solutions
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting deployed applications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
5+ years of manufacturing or operations technology experience
Experience designing or supporting shop-floor software solutions
Hands-on experience with MES systems (Tulip, Proficy, FactoryLogix, Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
Experience troubleshooting and supporting production environments
Ability to gather plant requirements and work with operations stakeholders
PLC, SCADA, QMS, CMMS, or data historian integration
OT/IT integration using REST APIs or industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT)
SQL database querying and data analysis
Programming experience (Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)
Cloud-based analytics and reporting
Leading workshops or continuous improvement initiatives
You will help implement smart-factory initiatives that connect equipment, operators, and enterprise systems. Projects may include workflow automation, bottleneck reduction, production data visibility, and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites.

Troubleshooting and production support experience
Managing multiple plant change requests or deployments
