Description

The Digital Insights Analyst plays a key role in helping the organization understand how users engage with our digital experiences and content. This role supports data-driven decision-making by ensuring digital data is accurate, accessible, and translated into clear, actionable insights. Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, the analyst transforms web and marketing data into reporting, analysis, and recommendations that improve outcomes across Pampered Chef's digital presence, with a strong focus on supporting digital product analytics and digital marketing analytics across multiple initiatives.

This role is ideal for an analytically curious, early-career professional who is eager to build strong foundations in digital analytics, SQL-based analysis, and business intelligence reporting, and is motivated to take on increasing complexity and contribute to how data informs digital strategy over time.

What You'll Do

  • Digital Analytics Support: Work with Google Analytics (GA4) data to support digital product analytics and digital marketing analytics, analyzing user behavior, traffic patterns, and engagement across multiple websites and digital marketing touchpoints.
  • SQL-Based Analysis: Query databases using SQL to extract, clean, and analyze data at the event, session, and user level to support reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Reporting Development: Build and maintain digital reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring data is accurate, clearly presented, and aligned to defined metrics and KPIs.
  • Data Integrity & Tracking Support: Assist with basic tag implementation and maintenance in Google Tag Manager (GTM), validating data-layer outputs, identifying data issues, and documenting metric definitions and reporting logic.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Assist with A/B testing and analysis to help stakeholders understand the impact of digital experience changes.
  • Insight Generation: Translate raw data into insights and observations, asking thoughtful questions and challenging assumptions to help stakeholders better understand performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Support: Respond to analytics requests from digital product, digital marketing, and other web-forward teams within the organization, helping clarify questions and ensuring analysis aligns with the underlying business need.
  • Learning & Growth: Continuously build knowledge of digital analytics best practices, GA4 capabilities, SQL techniques, and data visualization standards.

What Success Looks Like

  • Questions about digital performance are answered with clear, well-reasoned analysis, not just raw numbers.
  • Stakeholders trust the data and increasingly rely on this role for clarity on digital performance.
  • Over time, this analyst demonstrates growing independence, stronger analytical judgment, and deeper understanding of the digital ecosystem.

You're a Great Fit If You

  • Are curious, analytical, and enjoy figuring out how things work.
  • Have a strong interest in digital analytics and user behavior.
  • Are comfortable working with numbers and structured data, even when the problem is initially unclear.
  • Communicate clearly and are willing to ask questions to understand the "why," not just the "what."
  • Take pride in accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.
  • Take initiative in exploring questions, refining analyses, and following insights through to meaningful conclusions.
  • Are excited about developing into a more senior analytics role over time.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in an analytical, reporting, or data-focused role (internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects included).
  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, economics, statistics, MIS, computer science or a related quantitative discipline. Graduate degree (MBA or Master's) preferred.
  • Experience with data aggregation and manipulation tools, such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure to digital analytics platforms (GA4 and Google Tag Manager preferred).
  • Exposure to digital marketing platforms, such as Google Ads and Bloomreach.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including basic querying, joins, and aggregations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization or business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to explain analytical findings in clear, straightforward language.
  • Comfortable building relationships and partnering with commercial and technology teams to support collaborative, cross-functional solutions.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving instincts, clear communication skills, and the ability to stay organized while contributing across multiple projects and teams.
  • Experience working with digital marketing, websites, or content platforms.
  • Exposure to additional data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python).
  • Interest in growing into advanced analytics, measurement strategy, or data leadership roles.
