We are seeking an inventive Embedded Digital Systems Engineer to drive innovation in developing the forefront of digital hardware that supports our cutting-edge Software Defined Radios (SDR) and related technologies.
You will leverage your expertise in embedded microprocessor design, focusing on ARM Cores and high-speed protocols such as DDR, USB, and Ethernet. Your mastery of simulation tools like LTSpice, HyperLynx, and MATLAB will be essential in optimizing circuit designs and ensuring signal integrity.
From concept to execution, you will manage the entire design lifecycle, utilizing Mentor VX/DxDesigner for schematic capture and navigating complex circuit layouts. Your role will include creating and implementing rigorous testing protocols using lab equipment to ensure high-quality and reliable products.
Your work will align with MIL-STD-461 and IPC standards, ensuring all designs meet industry requirements for electromagnetic interference and high reliability. An ability to delve into SDR architectures and RF systems will complement your design capabilities.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with a Master's degree). A robust understanding of VHDL, embedded software, and agile configuration management tools is a plus.
