This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and oversee Digital Teammate Hub and GEP platform engineering teams, along with Process UX/UI resources.
  • Own delivery of secure, scalable, SaaS-based platforms that enhance teammate experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive integrations across enterprise systems and external vendor solutions.
  • Partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Business leaders to execute multi-year roadmaps.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and delivery outcomes with accountability and transparency.
  • Champion modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering and experience teams.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience leading enterprise software engineering teams in complex environments.
  • Strong background managing SaaS platforms, integrations, and vendor-delivered solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product, UX/UI, and operations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Confident communicator and trusted advisor who can influence across a matrixed organization.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 46 years of progressive software engineering experience, including initial people leadership or team-lead responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting and delivering enterprise or business-critical applications, with exposure to high-availability or production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to mid-sized engineering teams, manage priorities, and support delivery commitments.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and vendors; exposure to budgeting or resource planning preferred but not required.
