Cimarron is seeking a* Digital Engineering Lead* to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties:
- Lead the promotion and adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across the organization through training, support, and advocacy.
- Provide systems engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team including traditional SEs, MBSE practitioners, CM analysts, enterprise architects, and data analysts.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines and departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated systems engineering approach.
- Mentor and guide engineers in developing model-based environments and transitioning from manual, document-based processes.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to team members across various disciplines and experience levels.
- Deliver status updates and briefings to leadership, including senior government customers and stakeholders.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

- Active Secret Clearance.
- 4 or more years of systems engineering experience.
- Excellent analytical thinking, strategic planning, and effective communication.
- Knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF).
- Knowledge of modeling languages (e.g., SysML, UML).
- Experience using model-based systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.).
- Experience in leadership roles (e.g., direct reports, technical projects).
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a STEM discipline.
