Job Description:
Bank of America's Zelle and External Payments team is seeking a Digital Director to manage the growing performance management needs of Zelle and Digital ACH/Wire Transfers. This teammate will have an eye for detail, a strong risk / legal / compliance focus, a creative and analytical approach to solving problems, and a passion to improve the customer experience. The candidate should demonstrate strong experience in driving product growth and engagement by bringing innovative features, services, and technologies to market. The roles requires an individual with proven performance measurement and project management capabilities. The successful candidate will have a track record of building strong stakeholder relationships, managing by influence, and identifying opportunity through data-driven performance analysis.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate Zelle marketing campaigns and messaging with Digital Marketing team (Consumer and Business) to drive client adoption
Lead the Zelle and Transfers initiative planning process - prioriitize initiatives through business case development, cost sizing, and impact to client experience and the P&L
Drive Zelle Performance Measurement and Analytics – handle ad hoc analysis requests for Zelle performance and quarterly benchmarking of BofA Zelle performance with EWS (Zelle) network; includes the use of AI productivity tools to drive efficiencies in reporting and research
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing for Zelle and External Transfers – work across the team to expand test scripts and scenarios for feature testing to reduce project defects and negative client impact
Direct management and delivery of key Zelle projects with technology partners
Contributes to the development of digital strategies and process transformations to deliver industry leading solutions with impactful business results
Manages a large program or a portfolio of projects overseeing timeline, budgets, and resource allocation
Promotes governance, risk management, and analytics best practices to drive roadmap and prioritization at the portfolio level
Supports a program or portfolio business case, funding, progress status, promotion, and advocacy across the bank
Crafts powerful narratives and storytelling to drive awareness and rally support amongst executives across the bank
Builds alliances, negotiates, and influences stakeholders across multiple levels and functions within the bank to drive outcomes
Demonstrates critical thinking and leverages findings and data to make informed decisions across digital delivery, prioritization, negotiation, hiring, and staffing activities
Required Qualifications:
Digital banking and/or payments knowledge and experience
5+ years of Project/Product management experience
Highly effective Relationship and Communications skills
Detail oriented team player
Proficient in data analysis and reporting/forecasting
