Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute email and lifecycle marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with experience design, compliance standards, and technical execution requirements.
  • Manage the full email production cycle from intake and creative handoff through campaign setup, segmentation, QA, UAT, approvals, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Support ongoing optimization of email and lifecycle campaigns, using performance data and best practices to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams, product owners, execution teams, analytics partners, and external agencies to prioritize, coordinate, and deliver campaigns that support broader customer journey objectives.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on requirements, production workflows, channel best practices, campaign calendars, and playbooks.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams and vendors, facilitating clear communication and effective coordination across stakeholders.
  • Apply change management practices to drive sustainable adoption of new tools, processes, and systems within the digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Support the execution of multichannel and omnichannel lifecycle programs that contribute to cohesive and connected customer journeys.
  • Assist with activating above-campaign digital marketing initiatives through channel-specific experiences and support product or campaign optimization pilots.
  • Ensure all campaign activities comply with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare.
  • Leverage familiarity with omnichannel systems and tools, including workflow platforms, campaign automation solutions, CRM, and content management systems, to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or marketing automation roles with a strong focus on email and lifecycle campaign execution.
  • Robust hands-on experience in marketing automation, including end-to-end management of email marketing and lifecycle marketing campaigns, from setup and segmentation through QA, optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Proven experience executing email marketing campaigns with exposure to lifecycle marketing programs, triggered communications, and customer journey activation.
  • Practical experience using marketing automation tools such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Braze, or Iterable.

  • Strong project management skills to lead operational delivery, manage timelines, and ensure efficient utilization of resources across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively align cross-functional teams and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated environments, with an understanding of the constraints and requirements these industries entail.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks as they relate to campaign management and digital communications.

  • Familiarity with omnichannel systems and tools, including workflow platforms, campaign automation solutions, CRM systems, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or other content management systems.
  • Ability to design and refine toolkits, standards, and processes that improve operational efficiency and campaign quality.
  • Comfort working with complex stakeholder environments, including internal teams and external agencies, and applying structured change management practices.
