Job Description
This temporary position is eligible for remote work and is limited to a maximum duration of 18 months.

As a Digital Accessibility Specialist, you will work closely with the Web Team in the Public Communications Department to enhance the usability and accessibility of digital content and services. In this role, you will help ensure compliance with accessibility standards while supporting staff and departments in creating inclusive digital experiences for all users.

Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree in web design, writing, graphic arts, or a closely related field. Knowledge of current best practices in online content and service development preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of one year of related, full-time equivalent experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.

This temporary position is eligible for remote work and is limited to a maximum duration of 18 months.
