Duties Description Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited hospital, is recruiting a Registered Dietitian (RD) to serve as a Dietitian 2 supporting nutritional care and food service operations. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, day shift; may require occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
As a Dietitian 2, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, therapeutic, and nutritionally adequate meal service for patients while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and facility standards including:

Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they have:

Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the current Dietician 2 eligible list.
OR
Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
