Dietetic Services Patient Ambassador- Room service 2600010B

The Dietetic Patient Ambassador plays a key role in supporting patient nutrition through direct interaction, rounding assistance, communication, education, and service recovery as needed. This supervisor-level position is empowered to address patient concerns, make decisions regarding processes and procedures, and implement service recovery solutions.

The Ambassador ensures compliance with all departmental and facility policies and adheres to HACCP guidelines to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization. All responsibilities are carried out with a commitment to excellence in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

• Previous experience in a hospital, senior living facility, commercial kitchen, restaurant, or other food service operation. • Strong communication and customer service skills to address patient and customer needs with dignity and respect. • Ability to resolve concerns promptly while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to procedures. • Attention to detail and efficiency in task completion. • Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and adherence to safety standards.
