Essential duties include:
- Prepare or direct preparation of food
- Maintain safe, clean and sanitized work area
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed
- Receive and stock food service inventory
- Managing and scheduling kitchen staff
- Weekly supply orders for kitchen
- Monthly test tray audits
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager preferred
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience
- Minimum of 1 year food service supervisory experience in a hospital or extended care facility
- Knowledge of nutrition, food preparation, and infection control
