We are seeking reliable Dietary Aides to join our dynamic team and help ensure that patients receive nutritious and appropriately prepared meals tailored to their dietary needs. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

FULL-TIME Openings: 7AM-3PM (Day) & 11AM-7PM (Eve)

If you are unable to commit and consistently work any of the open shifts including working every other Saturday & Sunday then this position is not the right fit for you.

The hourly rate is $21/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $31.50/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and serving meals according to specific dietary requirements.
  • Deliver meals to patients while ensuring timely service and proper portion sizes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation protocols within kitchen and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and nursing staff to address patient dietary needs effectively.
  • Help organize and execute special meal plans as needed.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow dietary guidelines and assist in meal preparation.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Physical capability to lift/move food items and kitchen equipment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
