Join us at Lincoln Tech! We're looking for skilled Diesel Technicians to become valued Instructors in our Diesel Technology program. No teaching experience is required. Key Responsibilities for Diesel Instructors
- Teach and provide hands-on training in Diesel Technology in our fully equipped facility
- Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
- Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
- Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
- Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
- Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
- Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
- Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Diesel Technology
Key Requirements for Diesel Instructors
- 3+ years of Diesel Technician experience
- ASE certifications T-6, T-8 (required within first 3 months)
- EPA 609 certification (required within first 3 months)
- Current ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications T4, T6, and T8
- Current ASE certifications in subject areas of instruction
- High school diploma/GED
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- OEM or equivalent industry-related training
- Teaching experience is a plus
- Current ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Status preferred
