Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility recycling machinery.
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Conduct regular cleaning of systems and equipment to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
Operate facility equipment, including forklifts and loaders, following all safety protocols.
Promptly report equipment malfunctions to the MRF Plant Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Experience with mechanical repair (industrial setting preferred; strong automotive/diesel background is highly transferable).
Welding skills (MIG, Stick, Cutting), preferably with mechanical equipment.
Forklift certification and heavy equipment certification (Loader experience preferred, but not required).
Capable of handling a physical workload, working outdoors, and working overnight shifts.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
