The Technician I performs maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill
level.
- Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if
additional repairs are necessary
- Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the
ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of
this level excluding those provided by the company
- Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language
- Ability to Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a
frequent basis to mount tires
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license required

- Shift Differential Nights: $1.50
