Diesel Tech Apprentice Opportunity - 60 - 80K DOE
Green Ford is seeking a Diesel Apprentice Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong desire to learn, assimilate into our team and some basic understanding of diesel engines, and general mechanics. Responsibilities:
Perform work as taught / specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership training
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose as taught, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications as taught
Provide excellent customer service
Maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
Maintain a "Team Player" attitude
