The Diesel Operations Manager directly supervises shop personnel, reviews departmental financial performance, and serves as a member of the Leadership Team, helping drive operational excellence and company growth. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on diesel service operations and shop management, with 30% dedicated to truck sales and business development.
Essential Responsibilities
Shop & Service Operations
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety requirements, and company policies. Monitor labor efficiency, shop utilization, and key operational performance metrics.
Truck Sales & Business Development
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, truck values, and market conditions.
Leadership & Team Development
Address employee concerns and support workforce development initiatives.
Financial Management
Track key performance indicators related to labor, parts, sales, and overall shop performance.
Leadership Team Participation
