Responsibilities Diagnose malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs e.g. adjusttest steering electrical cooling lubricating braking systems drive trains suspensions power steering units clutches transmissions and oil temperature gas regulating components adjusttestrebuild engines etc. and related assigned duties within qualification level in accordance with all relevant Federal StateProvincial and local guidelines and requirementsOversee and personally comply with the local implementation of NELLC maintenance and safety standard operating procedures in this maintenance facility ensuring that local maintenance staff follow them and comply with all locally applicable public authority legislation regulation and standardsOversee the local use of NELLCs EAM Enterprise Asset Management ERP application and maintenance facility staff to record and to track local maintenance work orders and local parts inventory. This includes using this application personallyOversee the parts inventory maintained and used in this maintenance facilityParticipate in the work needed to implement preventive maintenance for the vehicles serviced by this maintenance facilityParticipate in the work needed to complete unscheduled repairs" to the vehicles serviced by this maintenance facilityRepresent the maintenance activity at the local level in its interaction communication and coordination of activities with other local operations functions driver care route operations and customer careSupervise the maintenance staff at this maintenance facilityExhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager 36-38 Per HourQualifications Requirements and QualificationsCertified technician must possess a 310T or 310S5 years of fleet Supervisor experience in a Diesel Shop with HeavyMed duty fleetsMinimum of five years Auto Truck or Bus mechanical repair experienceExperience with Compliance with the local applicable DOT compliance of Med Heavy TrucksMust be computer proficientStrong experience with computerized diagnosticsAbility to use good judgment and Decision Making skillsBackground in planning and scheduling maintenance repairs Daily Weekly MonthlyOversee the parts inventory maintained and used in this maintenance facilitySupervisor experience in purchasing and budget management experienceStock Transportation has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct that is incompatible with its policies and values including sexual exploitation and abuse harassment abuse of authority and discrimination.
