This Diesel Mechanic/Technician B role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining freight transport equipment, including diesel over-the-road and city tractors, straight trucks, and industrial forklifts.
Responsibilities include tracking work progress, troubleshooting system failures, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing routine maintenance, and repairing or rebuilding equipment as needed.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, valid Driver's License, at least 6 months of related experience or training, and pass a background and drug test. Preferred qualifications are experience with Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, ASE Certification, and Diesel Engine Certification.
Pay ranges from $31.95 to $39.22 per hour. The position is full-time, working the second shift.
