Diesel Mechanic/Service Truck Technician
Mansfield, OH
Eagle Eye Excavation is currently searching for a Diesel Mechanic/Service Truck Technician to join their team!
We have been in the trucking business since 2024 and are continuing to grow every day! We are SBE-MEB-DBE-EDGE certified. Our job is to help clients transport their construction materials from point A to point B all throughout Ohio ensuring all customers receive reliable services every time.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours
- Weekend work available along with truck on-call service hours
Qualifications:
- Pay based on experience
- CDL preferred
- Own tools is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot/repair vehicles
- Respond to roadside service calls to diagnose and repair trucks
- Perform maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Perform inspections to make sure everything is working properly
- Test-drive vehicles
- Follow protocols such as inspection checklists and maintain a clean workspace
- Perform road calls when necessary and when requested by foreman
- Work with electrical and exhaust systems to be sure they comply with state regulations
