**SCHEDULE: **This position requires nights, weekends and holidays.
HOURS: A standard shift will be provided, but will fluctuate at times.
FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance including, but not limited to oil changes and tune-ups on company vehicles, ambulances, heavy equipment, trailers, golf carts, and other motor vehicles.
Accurately diagnose and effectively repair and or replace the parts and systems necessary including brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
Perform necessary testing and diagnostic assessment of parts, systems, and vehicles.
Perform routine assessments on critical parts and systems.
Properly test drive vehicle.
Accurately maintain vehicle repair and maintenance records.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Two years of related experience with Ford and Chevy diesel engine diagnosis and repair preferred.
Strong mechanical repair skills.
MUST have your own tools. This company will assist in getting them to and from if needed.
Ability to read service and repair manuals.
Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effective time-management skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
