Own the process. Shape the product.

Imagine stepping onto the floor at our Clackamas, OR plant—minutes off I‑205 and an easy drive from Sandy, Estacada, Clackamas, and Milwaukie. Your craft: operating high-pressure aluminum die casting presses that turn molten metal into mission-critical components for on‑highway trucks and automotive applications.

Your impact

You’ll orchestrate each run from setup to steady state:

  • Lift and seat die sections using a crane; bolt them in place and set the ram stroke.
  • Complete safety inspections and eliminate hazards before cycle start.
  • Connect cooling water and preheat die sections with electric heaters.
  • Regulate valves and dials to balance water flow and machine speed according to part design and the alloy’s type and temperature.
  • Tune air and spray systems to clear metal fragments and precisely lubricate the cavity and plunger.
  • Configure automatic ladling to deliver molten metal accurately into the machine chamber.
  • Maintain correct furnace metal level and temperature across the shift.
  • Monitor process parameters, measure results, and make calculated adjustments to keep output consistent and compliant.

Compensation, shifts, and benefits

  • Start at $23.44/hour for the first 90 days; move to $24.01/hour after.
  • 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday.
  • Swing: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with a $1.25/hour premium.
  • Graveyard: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM with a $2.00/hour premium.
  • Benefits: medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, 401(k), monthly gym reimbursement, and more.

What success looks like

You keep the cell safe, stable, and productive—parts on spec, parameters in range, and equipment cared for throughout the shift.
