The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role ensures safe, effective, and high-quality dialysis therapy while maintaining strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Validation of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred within a 1 year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous patient care or dialysis experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic technical aptitude for operating medical equipment.
