Job Summary: Great working environment located at Upstate Downtown Campus, Level 1 Trauma Center. Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists. Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to assure that patients do not undergo undue radiation exposure. Areas include inpatient, outpatient, fluoroscopy, operating room, and emergency department. Adult and pediatric care (Golisano Childrens Hospital).
Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient. Performs all required quality control procedures. Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates who possess an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligible, and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position.
