Position Overview for the Senior Business Analyst – Provider Management:
- Lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation activities for MMIS Provider Management modernization initiatives
- Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and requirements workshops with state agencies, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Translate business needs into clear, structured, and business-focused requirements documentation
- Conduct current vs. future state gap analysis and recommend process improvement opportunities
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, assumptions, operational impacts, and decision tracking documentation
Requirements for the Senior Business Analyst – Provider Management:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting MMIS/MES or Medicaid modernization programs
- Strong client-side/state Medicaid experience preferred versus strictly vendor-module implementation experience
- Direct hands-on experience supporting Provider Management Module (PMM) or provider enrollment modernization initiatives
- Proven experience leading JAD sessions and stakeholder-facing requirements discussions
- Strong business requirements writing experience (business-focused documentation vs. highly technical specifications)
