Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a DevSecOps Architect for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise security architecture, designing secure CI/CD pipelines, and integrating security controls across developer platforms.
Rate Range: $64/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DevSecOps Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Define and establish DevSecOps architecture, including secure CI/CD pipeline designs, standards, and platform governance.
Integrate security controls (SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning) into pipelines to ensure secure-by-design development.
Lead implementation of cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud providers.
Drive software supply chain security initiatives such as SBOM generation, artifact signing, and dependency management.
Evaluate and standardize developer tools, CI/CD platforms, and internal developer portals for enterprise use.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce security, compliance, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud architecture, or platform engineering roles.
Strong expertise in DevSecOps architecture, CI/CD pipeline design, and integration of security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST) with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
Proven ability to design enterprise security frameworks, implement supply chain security practices (SBOM, artifact signing), and lead cross-functional teams in establishing secure and scalable development ecosystems.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $68.00 per hour
