DevOps Engineer
Location: Bentonville, AR (Onsite/Hybrid – 3 Days per Week Minimum; candidates able to work onsite up to 5 days per week preferred)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Interview Process: 1 round

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD automation, Terraform, and Kubernetes administration. Experience supporting MLOps environments is highly desirable.


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related experience
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
    • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
    • Cloud Build
    • Artifact Registry
    • Cloud Storage
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Advanced Kubernetes administration skills, including deployment, scaling, networking, and RBAC
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Ability to work on a W-2 basis
  • Must be eligible to convert to full-time employment without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting MLOps environments, including model deployment workflows and ML infrastructure
  • Experience with GPU provisioning and AI/ML workloads
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, and GitOps methodologies
  • GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certification
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar technologies
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
  • Administer and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications within GKE
  • Support MLOps workflows, including model deployment automation and container registry management
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as Cloud Monitoring and Grafana
  • Drive platform reliability initiatives, including SLO management, incident response, and operational runbooks
  • Manage IAM policies, secrets management, and cloud security configurations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency, scalability, and platform reliability
Additional Information
  • Candidates must be available to work onsite in Bentonville, AR.
  • Initial contract term is six months with the opportunity for full-time conversion.
  • Sponsorship is not available for conversion to full-time employment.
